Team Information
Cottenham U10s were formed in 2014. The then U7s split into 2 teams and entered the league the following year as the traditional Reds and Blacks playing in the Cambs U8 Mini league.
In to our 4th season, both teams are still doing well. With the rare chance of it happening, both ended up in the same league, the big village derby match ended 1-1, more fun to watch than a Merseyside derby!
The Reds and Blacks share training during the week but occasionally look to mix the teams a little in other friendlies and tournaments throughout the year where possible.
Our focus is to develop player’s footballing skills, both individually and as a team in a fun and friendly environment. Promoting enjoyment of football at all abilities and giving everyone a chance to play is a key principle!
Over the years we have had several boys involved in Cambridge United, Ipswich, Norwich City and Histon Development Centres.
Both of the U10 football teams are sponsored by Quickcall
