The Under-14s Girls had an incredible time in France as they participated in the Macron Cup held in Avrille. They played an 11-a-side match against the local team on Saturday in front of a full crowd. It was a fiercely contested game, with Cottenham creating the better opportunities. Lila made a fantastic run in the first half, narrowly missing her shot.
Then, in the second half, Maddie broke through only to have her attempt saved. However, Sasha was right there to follow up and found the top corner, securing a well-deserved victory.

On Sunday, the girls took part in the Montreuil-Juigne Bene Cup, with two teams competing in the Under 15's category. Even though they were a year younger, the teams performed remarkably well, with one team finishing 6th out of 12 and the other securing 3rd place.
After a tough semi-final loss, the girls regrouped and clinched the victory in the 3rd place playoff. Additionally, we were honored with the tournament Fair Play Award, which reflected the outstanding attitude all the girls exhibited during their time in France.

It was an unforgettable experience for the girls, creating lasting memories for everyone involved.
