Under-17s Girls: End of an Era...

It was the end of an era as the Under-17s Girls celebrated their final season together, lifting the League title and going out in style!

Under the guidance of Head Coach Simon Rose, the team put forth a remarkable effort to clinch the title. This season was very bittersweet as the squad said farewell after seven wonderful seasons together.

Simon has had an immeasurable impact on the club, especially on the Girls teams during his 15-plus years with the Colts. Many of the current girls began their journey in football under Simon's coaching during the Wildcats sessions, and they have now transitioned into league play, making their presence known.

It was a perfect tribute to the team and coaching staff, Scott and Guiseppe who have assisted Simon in helping develop the squad, taking the players from girls to ladies over many seasons that have provided ups and downs.

Simon's departure at the end of the season will undoubtedly leave a significant void in the club, having also fulfilled the Club Secretary role for a number of years.
