Girls football is FINALLY getting the respect that it deserves and we at Cottenham Colts hope to be (even just a small part) of the revolution. We have recently partnered with #hergametoo, who are an organisation ran by female football fans; who are committed to growing the campaign with the aim of fostering an ethos in football in which women are welcomed and respected equally.
Going into the 2022 season we have 6 girls teams right from u9's to u18's and a thriving Wildcats centre, we love to see girls of all ages enjoy the game that we all love. And may we add that our girls teams are forces to be reckoned with! Last seasons U17 girls reached their finals and our last season u14 girls winning their league without a single loss all season.
We are looking forward to watching our lionesses bring football home this afternoon and thank them for being an inspiration to so many.
