Colts Weekend Round-Up

Here is the weekly round up of team performances from all our Cottenham Colts teams from Mini-League through to the Girls League from Saturday 7th October.

MINI LEAGUE TEAMS

Under-8s [Black] v Haverhill [Friendly]

Well done to the Under-8s on a great performance today away against Haverhill Rovers. This was a well-matched and close friendly in which both teams had spells on top. The Blacks had a great attitude and defended well as a team, as well as finishing off chances well in attack. Smiles all round at the end!

GIRLS TEAMS

Under-10s v Priory Parkside [CUP]

The girls had a tough away draw in the Cup to Priory Parkside today, but never gave up, even when things were not going their way. Missing a few players didn't stop the team running and encouraging each other right up to the final whistle, and still finished with smiles on their faces. Great attitude from them all.

Under-11s [Purple] v Histon Hornets [CUP]

There is no stopping these girls are the moment as they put another great team performance in an away cup game to locals rivals, Histon Hornets. The girls really worked hard for each other and put into practise some well worked training routines. A tight defence along with some midfield dominance help to secure a positive result.

Well Done Girls!
