A solid team performance today from the Under 9s away against our friends from Chesterton. Strong tackling and improving passing.
Under-10s v South Lincolnshire Swifts Girls and Ladies
The Under-10 Girls embarked on a lengthy trip to compete against South Lincs Swifts.
The match began with both teams displaying strong defense, which kept scoring opportunities to a minimum.
As the game progressed, the girls began to take control, showcasing impressive passing and movement.
Their dedication in training was evident on the field. The team finished the game strongly, combining effective attacking play with robust defense.
Great job, team!
Under-11s v Ramsey Colts
The girls encountered a challenging journey to Ramsey after a few weeks away, showing some signs of rustiness in the first half. However, the home goalkeeper had to exert considerable effort to maintain a clean sheet by halftime.
In the second half, the Colts elevated their performance, delivering an impressive team effort with contributions from the entire squad that led to a favorable outcome. They scored some excellent goals that reflected their hard work on the training ground. The home team fought valiantly until the final whistle.

Under-12s [Purple] 2 v 4 Saffron Walden GFC
Today’s match against Saffron Walden was a competitive one. They were a well-organized team and took the lead with a goal from a corner in the first half. Our girls showed resilience, and when the opportunity arose, Tasharna broke free and equalized with a well-placed shot from Ava's pass.
We came out strong in the second half, with Flo scoring directly from a corner to put us ahead 2-1.
We enjoyed a good phase of play before Saffron Walden regained control and equalized due to an unfortunate own goal.
The score remained 2-2 until the last three minutes when Saffron Walden launched a counterattack and scored a well-executed goal. Feeling a bit deflated after that, they managed to add another, ending the game at 4-2.
It was a tough result, but the girls put in a solid effort throughout. Kailyn earned Player of the Game for her composed performance in defense.
Keep going, Girls!!
Under-14s 5 v 1 Linton Aztecs
A fantastic team performance away at Linton today. The girls came out strong and quickly took the lead when Sasha executed a brilliant finish from a Flossy through ball.
Maddie made her return from injury, coming off the bench to assist our second goal. She delivered a perfect cross to Luka, who skillfully won the ball and finished it to make it 2-0.
Linton managed to score before halftime, but we elevated our game in the second half. Bethan was a consistent threat on the wing, providing a cross for Maddie, who set up Lila to find the top corner.
Bethan assisted again shortly after for Luka's second goal, and Martha capped it off with a stunning controlled shot from outside the box.
The final score was 5-1, with Luka earning Player of the Game for her two goals and relentless effort up front. A special mention goes to Tia for her strong defensive performance.
Great win, Girls!!!
