Silent Support is positive support
During Silent Support Weekend, applause from spectators for good play, and quiet encouragement from coaches, is welcome. Spectators are being encouraged to refrain from talking or shouting, with coaches supporting players as they need to.

This is to create an enjoyable, safe, and developmental experience for all youth players, so that they can play the game with freedom, without pressure, and without an over-emphasis on winning at all costs.
This weekend, it’s all about giving our players and referees the space to:
✅ Find their own voice on the pitch
✅ Make confident, independent decisions
✅ Enjoy the game without sideline noise
By keeping the touchlines quiet, we’re building a positive, respectful environment where young players can grow in confidence and love the game even more. 💪⚽
Let’s all play our part — support in silence and let the game do the talking
